By 11 am yesterday I had run 4 errands. One of those was the DHS coming over (aka my parole officer). It wasn’t too bad, but it made my morning crazy and Anna to school late. I managed a feat of tasks while Anna was in school, sewing, shopping, cooking, cleaning, going going and more going! These late days of August are precious to us and we enjoy the weather so much.
One of my morning errands was taking Anna back to school because of the parole officer in my home. It was fun to be there when no buses were trying to squish me! I had a couple ladies in the hall compliment Anna and say, “She’s always dressed so well.” These kinds of compliments drop deep into the Warrior’s heart. I love that they notice and keep Anna’s style on their mind.
I made the effort to make sure that I took Anna to do something fun. I don’t know about you but I can get so caught up in all my “doing” that I need to make sure that I’m also spending quality time with her. So we went on a run, no dogs, just us. This is rare but it was hot, so I left them behind. She loved the breeze and I love the extra workout of running and pushing 70 pounds plus her stroller, so a total of about 77. This is my special time and Anna loves it too. We love her new jogger called the “Special Tomato.” It glides with ease and Anna loves the wind. Happy to be back to school this week, back to a better routine. See our running fun below with our first video! Simple but fun, she loves to run just like mom.
