Today I had a huge bag of dogfood from Costco. I can lift it but . . . it’s a pain. To maneuver it you have to then open the door to the house, move through dogs, go into the back room. Make sure you don’t bend the wrong way! All this while hauling over 40 pounds, I think it may be a 50 pound bag. And then it dawned on me . . I have a wheelchair!
I might as well use it for all I can besides Anna! So I put Anna in her bed and used her chair to transport that food. Onward to the back of my house lickity split! It went up the ramp and into the backroom with no problem.
Now I can use this method for many things. I have used it for clothing at resale stores when I can’t find a cart. Boy can I load up that chair with clothing hangers! We have to make the things we have useful because we have them so why not? I’ll admit when we travel we use it to haul all the luggage to the car and then get Anna in at the end. I say make what we have useful!
Last week Paul got a carwash for Anna’s van. He told me that once the car wash attendant saw Anna he refused to take any money. Paul texted me “Anna for the win!” She brings us luck, useful things and great karma. I guess we are making Anna useful! Now that’s a fun thought.
Thank you for reading our Blog.

Anna for the win! She’s sending you those nonverbal messages to your mama heart saying “don’t try lifting and carrying that mom! Let me help you! My chair can do it! Don’t hurt yourself!” She’s got your back literally this time! And score one for Anna with the car wash- she’s too darling to go around in a dirty ride! Love to you all!
